The Test Run
As part of my planning for the trip across Canada following the TransCanada Highway from coast to coast - I did a drive today doing the 50 kilometer stops. With a stop for rest room break, assorted horrible highway traffic at the end of the Labour Day long weekend, assorted winding roads and small towns, I got the results I thought I'd get. Travel should be about 1 hour and 8 minutes per 100 kilometres. Of course, if there isn't much traffic or other problems, that'll be cut down a bit. Not just have to get the highway report on what construction might be going on along the route.
